Foot Institute Podiatrists invest an average of 10 years in higher education, the first four years in undergraduate studies to secure a Bachelors Degree, and the following 4 years in Medical School to acquire a Podiatric Medical Degree. Podiatric Medical School resembles conventional medical school and in point of fact several podiatry training programs are contained inside these academic institutions. Upon securing a Podiatric Medial Degree, Doctors at the Foot Institute finish a hospital "internship" or residency for an additional 1 - 3 years.

At the fulfillment of the internship or post degree residency, our Podiatrists have received encompassing healthcare training with an emphasis on problems pertaining to the feet and ankles.
